ReadySuite 8.3.0 is released and now available to download. We recommend all customers using previous versions update to this release to benefit from new features, performance improvements, and increased stability.
We have made several enhancements and features as outlined below. To see a full list of changes in ReadySuite v8.3.0, view the entire release notes here.
Chat Connector – Microsoft Teams & Purview PST Exports
In ReadySuite 8.0, we introduced the ability to collect and/or convert Microsoft Teams data from Purview into ReadySuite to the Relativity Short Message Format (RSMF). That was limited to Premium eDiscovery and HTML transcripts. Starting in ReadySuite 8.3, we now support Standard eDiscovery and PST exports.
Relativity Server – OAuth2 Enforcement
To encourage the use of OAuth2 with ReadySuite and Relativity Server connections, we have default disabled the ability to connect to Relativty Server using the Basic authentication method with Username & Password.
Starting in ReadySuite 8.3, you will need to create an ‘OAuth2’ client in Relativity. Follow our Blueprint to learn how to properly set up your connection to Relativity Server.
While this is now the default and preferred connection method, we have provided an override to allow for Basic authentication in the application configuration if absolutely necessary.
Conversation Viewer
The conversation viewer for Chat projects has been updated to include highlighting the current message when selected on the Document Grid and any filters applied on the Document Grid with now be reflected in the Conversation viewer.
For example, if on the Document Grid, you have a date filter applied to a Conversation – only the messages will be shown in the viewer going forward. Removing the filter on the grid restores the unfiltered conversation view.
Document Numbering
We made a significant improvement to Document Numbering performance. When running Number Pages or Number Documents, users should notice a much faster time for the entire process to complete.
